The name

Crouch. Bind. Set. Meet Bind Rugby.

31 October 2026 · Sam

Our rugby app has a new name: Bind Rugby, or Bind for short. If you knew us as Blitz Rugby, you’re in the right place.

Same app. Same fixtures, live scores, lineups and rankings across every league you follow. The update went live on 29 October 2026, so the new name and icon are probably already sitting on your home screen.

Why Bind?

We needed a name that’s ours alone, so we picked one only rugby could own.

Every scrum starts the same way. Crouch. Bind. Set. Bind is the middle call, the half second where eight players lock in together before the hit. Every forward knows it, and every fan has heard it shouted a thousand times.

It also describes what we built the app to do. Bind is the bit that holds it all together: the URC, the Premiership, the Champions Cup, Test rugby, the Top 14, the Currie Cup and more, locked into one place. You shouldn’t need five apps and a group chat to follow the game you love.

What changes, and what doesn’t

Everything you rely on stays exactly where you left it. Your followed teams, your alerts and your settings carried straight over with the update. There’s nothing to reinstall and nothing to set up again.

You’ll also find us in a few new places:
